Leading Stove Manufacturers Back the Launch of the Opulence Trade Portal

wiking wood burning stove

After 21 years working alongside the industry’s leading stove and chimney manufacturers, we are proud to announce the launch of the Opulence Trade Portal — a dedicated route to market for HETAS-registered installers across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, and Peterborough.

The portal brings our full range of premium stoves, Schiedel Chimneys flue systems, and our regional logistics network into a single trade account — with better margins, live stock visibility, and a firewood referral programme that turns every installation into ongoing income.

The launch is supported by formal endorsements from the manufacturers we have worked with for many years, including Schiedel & Specflue, Jøtul & Scan, Charnwood, Chesneys, Hwam & Wiking, and Woodwarm.

Built for Professional Installers

The portal is open exclusively to HETAS-registered fitters working in our service area. Once approved, members get:

  • Tier A trade pricing from day one — no qualifying period, no minimum order, no annual threshold to hit first.
  • Tier B enhanced margins that unlock automatically when a stove and flue system are ordered together, or when collection delivery is chosen.
  • Live stock levels on every product page, so installers can quote lead times with confidence.
  • One account for the complete system — stoves, twin-wall flue, flexible liner kits, and ancillaries in a single order, delivered together.
  • Our own delivery team from Unit 11, Oaklands Park, Bury St Edmunds. No pallet networks, no third-party couriers, and a direct conversation if anything needs attention on arrival.
  • Real-time order tracking with transparent pro-forma terms — and no balance due on special-order stoves until they’re in our warehouse.

Nine Premium Brands, All Ecodesign 2022

The portal stocks nine premium brands — Charnwood, Chesney’s, HWAM, Jøtul, Oxford, Scan, Termatech, Wiking and Woodwarm — alongside Schiedel Chimneys’ twin-wall flue and flexible liner kit ranges. Schiedel products are filterable by category and diameter, so installers can build the correct system before placing the order.

The Firewood Kickback Scheme

Every stove customer needs fuel. The Firewood Kickback Scheme means the stove installed last year keeps generating income this year — without any further effort once the customer is referred.

Installers can take their kickback two ways:

  • £25 cash per crate, paid monthly to a nominated bank account.
  • £27.50 as a trade credit note (+10%), redeemable against future portal orders.

The fuel is our own kiln-dried, Ready to Burn certified firewood, delivered by the same team that handles the stove deliveries. Because retained firewood customers keep buying year after year, the income compounds — without any additional referral work after the first conversation.

What the Industry Is Saying

The portal launches with formal partnerships and endorsements from the manufacturers we have worked alongside for many years.

Schiedel & Specflue — “The Opulence Trade Portal represents an important step forward for the trade.”

Schiedel and Specflue point to Opulence’s market knowledge, operational investment, and technical support as the foundations of a platform built around quality and long-term value.

Jøtul & Scan — “The Opulence Trade Portal is a natural extension of this philosophy.”

Jøtul applies a highly selective approach to retail partnerships, choosing only businesses with strong technical expertise and the highest standards of product presentation. The portal gives installers access to their premium stoves backed by Jøtul’s industry-leading 25-year warranty.

Charnwood — “A progressive step forward for the independent trade.”

Charnwood point to the combination of premium product access, technical expertise, operational investment, and a clear focus on supporting professional installers as evidence that Opulence is investing in the future of the stove industry.

Chesneys — “A significant step forward for the industry.”

Chesneys highlight the importance of installers aligning with quality-led brands and partners who can support both product selection and end-user education — and see the portal as a trusted route to market that delivers exactly that.

Hwam & Wiking — “A clear route to market for our premium stoves.”

Hwam and Wiking emphasise the importance of connecting their products with qualified installers, reinforcing quality, expertise, and trusted supply.

Woodwarm — “We are excited to support the launch of the Opulence Trade Portal.”

Woodwarm point to Opulence’s extensive knowledge of both their products and the wider stove sector, and a consistent commitment to both trade and retail customers, as the foundation of a long-standing working relationship.

A Long-Term Investment in the Trade

The Opulence Trade Portal is the first step in a wider strategy focused on strengthening relationships between manufacturers, installers, and independent retail. Through continued investment in stockholding, warehousing, logistics, technical support, and digital infrastructure, we are building a platform that delivers genuine value to both suppliers and the wider trade community — while maintaining the highest standards of product representation and customer support.

Apply for Trade Access

The portal is open to HETAS-registered fitters working in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, selected areas of Norfolk, and Peterborough. Out-of-area applications are considered in exceptional circumstances with prior written agreement.

Applications take under five minutes. On approval, trade pricing, live stock, and the Firewood Kickback Scheme are all available from the first session.
